Human Resources is pleased to inform you that the Rowan County Nurse Practitioner Clinic will begin a phased reopening starting Monday, April 12, 2021.
As part of the phased reopening, the Nurse Practitioner will begin seeing employees and spouses covered on the County’s health insurance plan for Lab work in the clinic. All other visits will begin as a telephonic visit and the Nurse Practitioner will provide treatment based on this evaluation or determine if an in-person visit is needed. For medication refills, you may email the Nurse Practitioner or set up a telephone visit to request a refill and it will be determined if an in-person clinic visit is needed. Please note that any person with COVID symptoms, upper respiratory or sinus symptoms, cough, fever, or sore throat will need to see their Primary Care or Urgent Care for testing, treatment, and work notes. The Nurse Practitioner cannot treat anyone with these symptoms. Masks are required for any in-person visits.
The clinic is located at the Rowan County Health Department. Appointments can be made online at https://www.timecenter.com/rowancounty. Please see the attached flyer for examples of services currently available through the clinic.
Also, in-person appointments with the Pharmacist Care Manager are available for participants of the Diabetes Management Program (HealthMapRx). For information about this program, please see the attached flyer or visit the Diabetes Management Program webpage.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Aldrea Speight in Human Resources by email or by phone at 704-216-8163. Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time.
