The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional, confidential counseling and resource program paid for by Rowan County and provided by McLaughlin Young Employee Services to help employees and their families deal with both personal and work-related concerns and challenges. It offers the following services:

REASONS TO USE THE EAP

An EAP is designed to help with all kinds of life situations. Examples include, but are not limited to: 

  • Family issues, including marriage/partner difficulties , divorce, and other family relationship issues
  • Work-related concerns, such as communicating with co-workers and other job stress issues
  • Parenting  
  • Stress
  • Balancing work and family 
  • Work-related concerns
  • Depression and anxiety 
  • Grief and loss
  • Elder care
  • Healthy living 
  • Crisis events
  • Legal help 
  • Financial assistance 

Expert Consultants:

Trained counselors are available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year  through the County's EAP program. You or your family members may call the EAP at anytime. Call McLaughlin Young toll-free at 1-800-633-3353.
